All soups are delicious! I would be happy if there were more options for vegans. Far too much vinegar in the lentil stew without spaetzle, otherwise everything was great.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend it, the price / performance ratio isn't right, and the wine, well the one I had, didn't taste like anything. Of course, everyone has a different taste, I didn't like the wine and it was expensive too.
Unfortunately, I was able to dispose of most of the salad I bought to take away because it was very bitter. However, the salad sauce tasted very good.
Delicious panini and delicious wine, something cheaper would be good
Not really recommended. Would like to be chic, but ultimately a questionable audience.
The food was cold and inedible (the rice was like stone), the staff was chaotic and unprofessional, the waiting time was too long. 7 people at the counter, none with the mask. The place is not recommended.
The yellow lentil soup and the tomato soup tasted very good. Gladly again at any time.
The food we bought here was unfortunately all very tasteless and had a relatively high price.
The atmosphere was rather unpleasant for new customers. I felt somehow in the way and the stews including a selection of soups were rather modest. Possibly suitable for a drink in the evening but no recommendation to eat soup.
Was my second visit here because the widower across the street was full. The prices are pretty excessive. 3.60 euros for a mini latte macchiato that has more milk than anything else and also tastes like that. The cappuccino is okay though. One waitress is super nice, the other looks like seven days of rain. When you stand in front of the counter and want to order something, you are not even looked at and only hear an annoyed "Bittttteee?" If you can afford it as a service provider?!. The toilet is under all cannon. The toilet seat is broken and the remains of a previous guest were already dry so that they couldn't be cleaned away. The toilet is probably not cleaned every day. At a bar / cafe / bistro, which is so chic, something like that doesn't work at all ... I didn't taste the food, but it looks good and tasty. Give it three stars anyway, because the rest looks good.
Nice bistro. Nice to sit outside too. The service is good.
Much too badly staffed during the week. Were a group of 6 people. We had made a reservation when we arrived our table had too few chairs, asked to get chairs and that we would like the menu, after 15 minutes we got a bar stool from inside and got a card from the other table. It took another 20 minutes until our order was finally taken. Unfortunately, only 1/3 of our drink order arrived, the rest was forgotten, the two waiters then made fun of that they had totally forgotten about it. Instead of simply asking at 10 p.m. whether you should turn on the fire, we then asked. Our plates of food were left in front of us the whole evening until we asked the waitress to please take it with us, the further drinks orders were tedious. We drank wine for enough money that evening, although it is better not to leave your money here. Toilets totally filthy and dirty, otherwise nice location, but you can't talk about service here. A real shame
It was my first time there and I was wondering why you can only be served from 6 p.m. I found it strange for bistro with outside area. First we had to wait in front of the entrance and no one came to us afterwards were allowed to sit at a table and didn't get a card until we looked around for the waitresses. So service I have to say was unfortunately not great. But lillet wildberry was delicious and the antipasti plate too ?
Cozy, clean and friendly staff. Many different delicacies and wines in a cozy atmosphere. Outside on the terrace are 2 cozy oil fires at the table behind a glass pane you can sit around with friends.
Very arrogant, arrogant staff. Who don't know how to deal with customers! Let your own people in while everyone else should wait at least 30-60 minutes ... Never ever !!!
Outrageous staff !!! Let us wait in front of the door and let everyone else who has supposedly reserved be let in. The owner also extremely arrogant and wannabe !!! We will never go there again!
The location is great. The soups / stews are ok, if you are lucky, maybe even warm. The service is really lame and rude.
Well decorated charming location (chandeliers, anyone), friendly staff, we enjoyed his place a lot. The patronage is rather upscale, this place is excellent for a cozy conversation with a glass wine or two. They offer food as well but we did not try it but I have no doubt it is good.
Nice place.. as a wine drinker I liked it a lot
Pretty good wine list, not cheap for Germany. Small bites to eat. The interior is kind of boring.
Good try..... but better soup..... then bistro & wine bar
Very fast service, had a nice and tasty snack with desserts before the road. Thanks!
German style soups are good but stay away from the Tom Kha Gai soup ... it tastes like maggi
Nice place to sit and eat and the food is very tasty!
I like. Small and fine. Delicious panini, good cappuccino and a fantastic tiramisu.
As a wine bar They succeed with an extensive wine list, however the menu is quite challenging to read. The appis are in the end of the pages and you had to sift through the wines first almost 20 pages later... Also, it was too loud to have a normal conversation inside. For a wine bar, I think there should be a space to sit and communicate without shouting. I'd like to think that there is a difference between a nightclub and a wine bar, but oh well. As a daytime café The soups are ok, I think the best one to try is the Indian lentil soup. The Swabian lentil soup was savory as well. During the day, it's a great place to have a tasty soup, a desert and a decent coffee in the city core without breaking the bank.
Food was delicious Swabian and under 10 € a lunch with a drink
Best InterNations Event at San’s Wine Bar and Bistro! We loved it !

I love this place. The soups are tasty and the staff is friendly. Always a good place to go if you just searching for a quick little snack. Always a go to place for me.
Extremely slow service for bad quality food and drinks. Hot chocolate tastes like children's hot cocoa from the grocery store. Cappuccinos and other coffees where served cold. Unnecessarily expensive as well. Very bad.
Extremely slow service, we waited 15’ to give an order and like 20’ to pay.
Very pleasant atmosphere and good variety of soups. We are always happy to take a quick look here. Since the renovation, it's also much more comfortable ...
Perfect to grab a bite when hunger attacks: sandwiches, salats, soups. I wish they d have a little bit of more variations on the 'Eintopf Gerichte'.
